Situated on the North Wales coast in the County Borough of Conwy just off the A55 North Wales expressway. Llanfairfechan is known as a seaside resort with it's local shops, bank, post office, primary school and mainline railway station. The wide expanse of beach with it's safe bathing is very popular and the views/sunsets are spectacular. The University City of Bangor is within approx 7.5 miles and to the east, the walled town of Conwy is within approx 6.5 miles. Slightly further afield, there is the popular and larger seaside resort of Llandudno (approx 12.5 miles) with it's grand Victorian promenade, pier and modern theatre.
Travelling west along the A55 North Wales expressway, after passing the Llandudno turn off, continue for approx 7.4 miles and at the roundabout, take the first exit to Llanfairfechan. Proceed along Penmaenmawr road to the village centre cross-roads (traffic lights). Turn right into station road and continue down the hill and under the A55 flyover towards the beach. Follow the road around to the right into the promenade and Gwylanedd is located on the right hand side.
